Twenty-four credits will be required; the following units of credits will be part of this total:

  • 4 credits of english
  • 4 credits of mathematics
  • 4 credits of science, which must include biology and chemistry (physics recommended)
  • 4 credits of social studies
  • 3 credits of a foreign language (two consecutive years during grades 9–12)
  • 1 credit of personal fitness/physical education/health
  • 1 credit of fine/performing arts
  • 3 elective credits

Community Service - All Upper School students must fulfill their grades community service requirement:

  • Freshmen - 10 hours of service
  • Sophomores - 15 hours of service
  • Juniors - 20 hours of service
  • Seniors - 30 hours of service
Seniors who have completed 400 or more volunteer hours during four years of high school will earn a silver cord to be worn at graduation. For more information on how to obtain community service hours, please visit our student life webpage.
