Class of ‘82
Romayne Riddell Levee is the Los Angeles marketing director for consumer and small business services for Aon, a global risk management and capital consulting firm.
Class of ‘83
Aillson Black is studying improvisation at the Second City Training Center working in shows produced at the Annoyance Theatre. She graduated from Eckerd College where she majored in music.
Class of ‘85
Currently, Hilda Harris Piell practices law and is an executive with the CME Group, a Chicago entity representing the July 2007 merger of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, as well as her J.D. degree (cum laude). Future law positions included the companies of Jenner&Block and MCI Worldcom, and a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Ruben Castillo in the U.S. District Court in Chicago.
Class of ‘87
Chris Lenz works in the remodeling industry, specializing in high end and historic renovations.
Kelley Martin Douglas earned her bachelors degree in theology from Cumberland College Covenant Life College, a masters in Counseling and is currently working on a PHD in Counseling.
Class of ‘93
Libby Anker completed her doctorate in political science with a focus on political philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Presently, she is teaching at Brown University for one year, and will begin a tenure- track position at George Washington University in the fall.
Class of ‘94
After working at the Harvard Business School for almost five years, Sam Forman recently began a new position as a website manager for the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, located at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. His responsibilities include handling both the technical and editorial aspects of the site, creating videos and other multimedia content, as well as assisting faculty and fellows in the formation of a blogosphere.
Class of ‘95
Jennifer Pollack graduated from NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center last May of 2007. She practices family law in Weston, at the Law Offices of Schantz and Schantz, PA.
Class of ‘96
Congratulations to Joanna Linder whose new position as director of retail marketing for Clark’s Shoes will have her overseeing their North American stores.
Amy Balsam’s entertainment marketing firm In 2 It Media, recently produced the romantic coming-of-age movie “My Sexiest Year,” which will be in theatres this spring. She also co-produced the last two episodes of the third season of the television program “Janice Dickinson modeling Agency.”
Jenifer Schiller Giller is a vice president at Crisis and Issues Management, an international public relations agency that provides counsel to corporations and organizations faced with some type of public relations challenge. She is based in the Chicago office.
Class of ‘98
Alain Harnouff owns Realty World Capital Group, a franchise of Realty World Corporation, an international franchise business organization
Greggory Holland is now the head concierge at Palasso del Mare on Fisher Island.
Bonnie Simon Grossman is studying medicine at Medical University of South Carolina Medical Center and Hospital.
Seth Cosentino Gabel’s is playing “bad boy” Jeremy Darling on the ABC comedy Dirty Sexy Money.

Class of ‘99
David Lang visited the school this past September, 2007. He is an assistant news producer with the ABC television affiliate WPLG in Miami, and occasionally hosts and writes for WQAM Sports Radio and CSPN in West Palm Beach.
An attorney and environmentalist, Sophia Salver earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2003, and a juris doctorate degree from the NSU Shepard Broad Law Center in 2007. Today, she works for the Everglades Law Center concentrating on land use and environmental law. In addition, she recently began Brillant Tees, a business of her own selling women’s and baby t-shirts plus reusable cloth grocery bags. A portion of the profits is donated to numerous causes Sophia supports.
Class of ‘2000
Jacqueline Grant earned her juris doctorate degree from Fordham University School of Law last May, 2007. She is presently working at a law firm in New York City.
Class of ‘01
Congratulations to Eric Leightman who graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2005, with a degree in business and finance.
Steven Pomerantz is living in Los Angeles, and working for a film finance company called Media Rights Capital.
One of the most exciting adventures Leigh Sorkin shared was studying abroad in Sydney, Australia. Today, she lives in Rockville, Maryland, is working on a master’s degree in Public Policy at American University where she graduated in 2005 earning her BA degree.
Class of ‘02
Christina Contrucci is working at Mailman Segal Institute, and earning her master’s degree at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services at NSU.
Class of ‘03
Jonathan Tragash teaches English to 13-18 year old students in the City of Lengshuizhang in the Hunan Province, China. Part of the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Second or Other Languages) program, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is a certified program used in non-English speaking countries. Jonathan writes that is the only American living in Lengshuizhang, where he has many friends and is slowly learning to speak Mandarin Chinese.
Class of ‘07
“Young Broward Artist Joins Elite Group,” an article appearing in the Miami Herald (January 10, 2008), recognized Danielle Kain for her work. Her artwork Read Between the Line, a piece she created while a student in teacher Melanie Cohen’s AP Art Studio class, was chosen for exhibition at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Atlanta gallery. From the more than 100,000 pieces submitted, Kain’s masterpiece was only one of 30 pieces chosen.
