Summer Scholars (Pre-k – Grade 2)

This program offers opportunities for children to develop literacy and language skills, math concepts, creative expression, and social skills. Programming is individualized and focuses on the development of the "whole child."

Summer Scholars Learning Center (K – Grade 5)

This program is designed for children who are experiencing difficulties in school and would benefit from remedial instruction in reading, language arts, math, and organizational skills. University School's expert teachers apply individualized and monitored instruction.

Writing Clinic: Grades 3-5 (Grades 3 - 5)

Skilled University School writing teachers will work with students as they explore a variety of literature genres, using this venue to develop and improve writing skills. They will learn to enhance 3–5 paragraph essays while exploring and applying skills as they relate to their topics. Students will create their own narrative, expository, and poetry pieces. They will be guided through the writing process—prewriting, drafting, revising, and publishing.

Math Clinic (Grades 3–5)

This program is designed for advanced math students. It includes experiences in everyday math, instruction and application of advanced math practices, authentic assessments and mathematical challenges, and mathematical games.
