Philosophy
Camp Nova has designed a program to promote socialization, independence, creativity, and problem solving in young children; using themes that capture the interest of our youngest campers. They will experience the wonders of nature, the joys of simple science experiments, and the opportunity to create arts and crafts projects. They participate in organized sports and games, and enjoy playing with their friends.
These activities include the use of creative expression, language arts, music, art, play-and-learn toys, block building, cooking, sports, swimming, and some really amazing outside entertainment brought in to supplement their daily activities. Our junior core campers also enjoy Playball, a developmental sports program designed specifically for young children. This program enables the children to develop their gross motor and team-building skills, all while boosting their confidence….and having lots of fun!
A Typical Day
Just like the core campers our youngest campers will participate in special planned events and amazing weekly activities. A typical day might consist of the following:

Important Reminder About Special Friend/Buddy Requests
Remember, requests are limited to only one friend. To accommodate those children who want to be in the same group, requests must be made no later than May 5, 2008. Please be aware that these requests must be in writing, and should be included in your registration packet.
