Basketball Camp

Athletic Clinics

The main emphasis of this week-long clinic is player development. Through quality coaching and an age-specific curriculum, campers can develop skills fundamental to the game of basketball in a fun and stimulating environment. The clinic is coed and participants will be divided into appropriate groups relating to age and/or ability level. A progressive curriculum has been devised that will provide a week packed full of basketball-specific activities aimed at developing basic skills such as dribbling, shooting, screening, rebounding, and passing, all coached in a fun and challenging environment.

Soccer Camp

Soccer Camp at Camp Nova is a co-ed program that will provide instruction in both basic and advanced soccer skills and strategies. Individual attention will be offered to all athletes. All campers should bring water bottles, cleats, and appropriate athletic wear. Each day will be filled with drills, daily competitions, and contests. Whether your children are starting from the beginning or looking to improve their game, this is the camp program for them.

Tennis

The Tennis Camp at Camp Nova is a coed program that will provide instruction in both basic and advanced tennis skills and strategies. Individual attention will be offered to all athletes. All campers should bring water bottles, sneakers, appropriate athletic wear, and a tennis racket. Each day will be filled with drills, daily competitions and contests. Whether your children are starting from the beginning or looking to improve their game, this is the camp program for them.

  • Lunch and afternoon activities are available through Camp Nova  for an additional cost.

Volleyball Camp

The Camp Nova Volleyball Clinic is a coed program that will provide instruction in both basic and advanced volleyball skills and strategies. Individual attention will be offered to all athletes. All campers should bring water bottles, gym shoes, appropriate gym wear, knee pads, and towels. Each day will be filled with drills, daily competitions, contests, tournaments and prizes.

Athletic Clinics are for boys and girls in grades 4-8.

Lacrosse Camp

This co-ed camp will focus on Lacrosse techniques, stick handling skills, cradling and theories of team play and sportsmanship. This camp is geared towards players of all ability and a commitment to provide individual development. *Lacrosse stick is required.

“From the proper grip to the perfect swing, this new specialty camp will focus on all aspects of your golf game. Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years, surely you will improve your game over this week long camp.

*Camp will take place at Plantation Preserve Golf Club and will be taught by NSU University School Varsity Head Coach Chris Granger”

Baseball Camp

Led by NSU’s NCAA Division II National Champion Head Coach Greg Brown, this new camp will teach campers the basics of hitting, fielding, throwing, running and sliding. The purpose of this camp is to teach the fundamentals of baseball but also to give children confidence and for the campers to have fun! This camp is designed for beginners and experienced players. The camp is coed and participants will be divided into appropriate groups relating to age and/or ability level.
