Counselors in Training
Counselors in Training (C.I.T.'s) are mentored by our camp directors and work with senior counselors daily. They learn valuable skills, such as leadership, team building, and responsibility which they can carry with them to their future endeavors. While helping lead the daily activities offered at Camp Nova, C.I.T's gain hands-on experience working with children in an exciting fast paced environment. They will attend meetings and staff training every camp session alongside Senior and Junior Counselors.
Camp Nova is looking for C.I.T.'s that are dedicated, accountable, and exhibit a willingness to learn and help out where needed. All C.I.T.'s must have completed 9th grade. The C.I.T program is limited to a select number of partcicipants. Once an application is received, you will be contacted by the Director of Summer and Extended programs for a formal interview.
*CIT's must be available to work the whole summer, the first 4 weeks consecutively, or the last 4 weeks consecutively.
