Bringing out the best in students means bringing in the best resources.

Find the best teachers
Some students learn better through reading. Some through listening. Some have to get their hands on the material and see it in action. University School teachers understand that every child learns in his or her own way, so they continually develop new instructional approaches in order to reach every learner. They know that a "one size fits all" education never really fits.

Find the best students
University School students are an impressive group -- confident, excited about learning, and creative in so many different ways. That's because they don't sit passively here. They are engaged -- they try on different roles; they learn to formulate questions. The results are graduates who are able to think through ideas and apply their learning to the world around them.

Find the best technology
First graders using Power Point. Seventh graders doing extensive online research. Juniors digitally editing their own short films. This is the net generation -- technology is second nature to these students. And with a wireless campus, three television studios (each producing its own news show), computers in each classroom, and leading educational software, University School is ready for them.

Find the best opportunities
From performing research with NSU faculty to performing musicals in NSU's Miniaci Performing Arts Center, our connection to Nova Southeastern University offers students unmatched opportunities and facilities. Plus, our teachers play a vital role in NSU's Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services, both as faculty members teaching other teachers and as students themselves pursuing advanced degrees.

Find the best community service
We don't have to tell our students about the benefits of personal and civic responsibility. They see for themselves the difference they can make in the lives of others. On average, a graduating class will have performed over 30,000 hours of community service in its four years of high school. And that's just our Upper School. Our Middle and Lower School students also lead a host of charitable efforts of their own.

Find the best college counseling
When it comes to choosing a college, our college counselors walk students through the entire process with a series of workshops, college tours, presentations, and individualized counseling. This comprehensive approach, which starts in eighth grade, ensures that our students find the school that will help them achieve their dreams.
