Dear Parents and Friends,
Welcome to the Office of Advancement at University School. When families enter University School they make a commitment to provide their child with the finest educational experience available. Once here, they find that the University School academic experience is enriched by special relationships—with teachers, advisors, coaches, and fellow students. This positive school environment can only flourish through an active and involved constituency.
We are grateful for the committed and generous members of our school community who make University School a personal and philanthropic priority. Like most other non-profit institutions, independent schools cannot cover the cost of the annual operating budget or capital projects with tuition alone. That is why tax-free, charitable contributions are a traditional part of the independent school culture. University School, as all independent schools, must rely on charitable support from parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends in order to achieve its mission. While contributions by you are voluntary, it is important that all parents participate at some level.
Please explore the following pages to learn about the future plans to enhance our school community and the many ways that you can participate in helping University School thrive as an innovative leader in education.
Those who contribute to University School take pride in knowing that they are investing in our children. Thank you in advance for your support and desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me at (954) 262-4435 or e-mail me at gstincer@nova.edu.
Sincerely,
