Dear Parents and Friends,
Welcome to the University School’s Office of Development. When families enter University School, they make a commitment to provide their children with the finest educational experience available. Once here, they find the special relationships our students share with teachers, advisors, coaches, and fellow students enrich the University School academic and extra-curricular experience. This positive school environment flourishes through an active and enthusiastic constituency.
We are grateful for the committed and generous members of our school community who make University School a personal and philanthropic priority. Like most other non-profit institutions, independent schools cannot cover the cost of the annual operating budget or capital projects with tuition alone. That is why tax-free, charitable contributions are a traditional part of the independent school culture. University School, as all independent schools, must rely on charitable support from parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends in order to achieve its mission. While contributions are voluntary, it is important that all parents participate at some level.
Please explore the following pages to learn about our school community and the many ways you can participate in helping University School thrive as an innovative leader in education.
Those who contribute to University School take pride in knowing that they are investing in our children. Thank you in advance for your support and desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at 954-262-4483 or e-mail me at Kelrick@nova.edu.
Sincerely,
