Scheduled completion date: July 2009

The new Lower School Building will be located to the southwest of the ellipse and consists of two levels of academic and office space. The first level includes a two-story main lobby, offices for administration, flexible classrooms for pre-kindergarten through grade 2, a state-of-the-art library/media center, and art and music classrooms. Anchoring the building to the west is a cafetornasium with support spaces, a kitchen and serving area, offices, and storage for the Lower School physical education program. The second level includes both flexible and traditional classrooms for grades 3 through 5, a word processing center, media studio, guidance suite, and the executive offices of the headmaster, Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations, and the Business Office.

Completion dates are subject to change due to unexpected construction delays.
