For many students, back to school season meant new teachers, fresh supplies and a chance to reconnect with old friends. This year, for students at University School, back to school also meant enjoying the results of the largest expansion project in the school's history.

But before the first bell of the season could even ring, hundreds came out to get a sneak peek and tour the new facilities, which include a completely new pre-kindergarten through 5th grade Lower School building, and a new Epstein Center for the Arts.

"This is an amazing milestone in the 38-year history of University School," said Headmaster Jerome Chermak, Ed.D. "Our entire campus is full of excitement and activity as we are creating an entirely new campus environment."
