"All Good Things Must Come to an End"
Unfortunately the Suns season has come to an end, after losing to Pinecrest 1-0 in the Regional Quarter-finals. The boys started slow and only had two shots on goal in the 0-0 first half. The Panthers scored on a free kick with 15 minutes left in the game. The Suns had a few chances to score in the second half, but just could not put the ball into the back of the net. The boys had an amazing season; they were crowned District Champions when they defeated American Heritage 4-0, they outscored their opponents 112 -9, recorded 19 shut-outs, and finished the season with a 23-2-1 record. The leading goal scorers for the Suns are: Conner Rezende (26), Jeremy Katz (22), Calvin Rezende(17), and Nick Perea (14). Leading the team in assists are: Jeremy Katz (24), Conner Rezende (19), Oliver Katz (9), and Calvin Rezende (8). Goal Keeper Eric Reyes set a school record with 19 shut-outs.
