“Team Awards”
Everyone here must know that The University School Lacrosse Team has arrived and is here to stay. This year we met every competitor with the intensity of the Sun. In our first year, no team will forget competing against us because we refused to back down or give up no matter what the score. Our team grew from 9 to 17 by the end of the season, and we had our Captain Alex Sterling receive honorable mention for the All District Team. We had multiple leaders on the team, from defense to offense, and next year is only looking brighter and brighter.
Our awards for the team were as follows:
- Offensive MVP - Alex Sterling, Defensive MVP - Zach Etkin
- Offensive MIP - Sebastian Amedee, Defensive MIP - Harris Mayersohn
- Coach's Award - Adam DeVeroli
Also in a side note, the future is bright for this program since the middle school team won the championship trophy for the Florida Keys Lacrosse Jam Tournament.
