“Weinbrum Corners Miami Country Day”
Valerie Weinbrum was on fire Thursday. Only six minutes into the game Valerie scored her fourth goal of the season and gave the Sun’s an early 1-0 lead. Weinbrum took four corner kicks that resulted in four goals for the Suns. Gaby Rodriguez headed in two of the corners, Isabella Bermingham and Rylee Simons knocked the other two into the back of the net. Angie Korakakos scored the final goal of the game on a free kick securing the Sun’s a 6-0 victory over Miami Country Day. The girls are now 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 19-0. Their next match will be Friday, November 20th at American Heritage. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
