Suns Improve Record
The Suns Middle School Baseball team improved their record to 6-5 (6-4 in conference) after defeating the South Florida Heat for a second time this season on April 22. Korky Korakakos pitched a complete game en route to a 13-3 victory and helped himself out at the plate by hitting a towering three run home run over the left field fence in the seventh inning. Others contributing on offense were Jawuan Harris (2-5, triple, 1 RBI), Brett Kean and Daniel Epstein (1-3, 2 RBI’S each), Connor Barton (2-4), Tyler Sabine (3-4, 1 RBI), Julian Cabrera and Jonny Simon (1-3, 1 RBI each), and Michael Spiegelman (1-3, double, 2 RBI’S).
The Suns have three games remaining before finding out if they qualify for the playoffs which take place in early May.
