The Suns Middle School Baseball Team Opened their season with a 11-0 win vs Sagemont. Lawson Dutton Pitched two scoreless innings. Laurenz Reyes pitched one inning and Korky Korakakos closed it out. The team played well defensively. With the bats everyone hit the ball Leo Alba hit a grand slam 4 RBIs. Johnnny Simon, Steven Buzgon got a hit a piece as did Darnell Millien. Dustin Hanley had two hits 3 RBI's and Korky had 2 hits and two RBIs.

First of a double header against Florida Christian Suns played hard but went down 6-1. At the plate Suns were able to muster only 5 hits Sam Simon 1 hit Laurens Reyes 1 hit Hanley 1 hit and Korky 2 hits. Lee Rosenberg ran the bases well. Aaron Churba pitched well 4 inning 2 earned runs and Lawson Dutton 3 innings 4 runs.

Second game was an exciting last inning come back to tie 4-4 in extra innings. Dustin Hanley pitched extremely well for 7 innings giving up only 4 hits and 2 runs. Defensively Suns were effecient with Noah Phillips and Conner Barton filling in and Daniel Epstein played well. Ian Smith played hard at first and made a some of big plays for the Suns. With 2 outs in extra inning and final at bats for the Suns Lawson Dutton singled then Dustin Hanley tripled to score Dutton then Aaron Churba hit a blast double to tie the game. Laurenz was intentially walked as was Korky and Conne Barton hit a hard ball that there shortstop made a great play to end the game. Suns showed great determination and resolve.
