If I was to select one word to describe me I would say: Athletic. It is no surprise that my love for the art of sports has directed me to being a High School Coach and The Head Groundskeeper for the NFL Pro Football Team, the Miami Dolphins. My job with the Miami Dolphins has given me the opportunity to work alongside professional coaches and players. These experiences left me yearning for my own coaching experience. I took on a part-time position as an Assistant Coach at the North Miami High School from 1999 to 2001. I further assisted my former High School Coach at Florida Memorial College Men’s Basketball Team in 2002.
My love of sports always inspires me to explore and partake in the game every chance I get. I picked up a golf club 8 years ago and it has been a part of me since. I had begun to study the game, spending time at the driving range, practice putting, pitching and actually hitting my first hole in one. I took part in the NFL Alumni charity golf classic, Guns and Hoses Golf Charity Event (Police and Fireman charity), The Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins Charity Event, The National Center for Missing Exploited Children, and the South Florida Golf Course Superintendent’s Association Benefit Tournament (which we won Low Net in 2005). Now, I welcome the opportunity to play whether it is for charity, competition or just for a weekend outing. I am looking forward to this year’s golf season, as I know, it will be a successful one.
