“Suns Wrap Up Regular Season with a Split”
The Suns Boys Varsity Golf Team took home a season finale victory in an 18-hole match versus Archbishop McCarthy, 330-346. The JV came up short in a 359-382 loss. The varsity match saw Alex Septoff card a match-low even par, 72. Dustin Barr turned in a solid 85, Joey Septoff had an 86, and Jordan Steiner shot 87. Dylan Tannenbaum rounded out the scoring for the Suns with a 104. Leading the way for the JV was Brian Herskowitz, carding a 93. Knotted up with a pair of 96’s were Brent Freed and Jordan Gumberg. Alex Deckler turned in a 97 and Alejandro Parjus rounded the scoring out with a 106. The 2009 District Championships will be held on the Championship Course at Weston Hills Country Club this coming Monday, October 19th. The first group will go out at 8:00 AM. Good luck!
