In Forensics students explore a wide range of communication activities (including original oratory, dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, public forum debate, and congressional debate).  They are introduced to the basic speech events required in a forensics competition and are given the opportunity to participate in novice competitions.  Forensics veterans can compete in more challenging competitions.  In fact, for the past 10 years, the University School forensic team has been ranked one of the top 10 high school teams in the nation.
